β€œDon’t judge a book by its cover”. The place may have seen better days when the owners were younger and full of energy. The wife passed a few years ago and is only Bob now taking care of everything. It’s not a fancy or new place. It may be an old building but is a treasure in disguise. I bought a bonsai for my husband, the owner (extremely nice guy) repotted it for me, as I bought a nicer pot for it while I was there. Bob explained to me the repotting process of the bonsai at every step of the way. Mind you at Ebenshades the bonsais I saw were ugly and no one wanted to repot them due to liability. I’m so happy I found this place and I’m buying a class for my husband so he can learn how to take care of his new bonsai baby. Will be back for sure!

I had wanted a bonsai tree for some time now and happened upon this gem of a business by chance. Bob was a wonderful person to talk and ask questions to. I ended up buying my first bonsai from him (Carmona Fukien tea). Bob shown me and my wife around the property all while discussing many things. He had a wonderful assortment of bonsai, some common some rare, some old and some young. You could tell he is passionate about what he does, and would speak to you all day about it. Im glad I stopped by and found this place.

This was an awesome and soul satisfying experience. The place has so much charm and character, the plants are SO beautiful and well cared for, and the owner and staff are so kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Entering the greenhouse is like entering a different world. There is also a very sweet cat to befriend. An absolute treasure. I will be returning for sure.

This place was absolutely a treasure! The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about plants and he had quite a colorful background in botany and horticulture. The plants were amazing to look at, some were very old with quite the history. The greenhouse wasn't super huge, but was cozy and diverse in plant varieties. They even offered bonsai classes! When we went there were lots of orchids and cacti and I left with a cute little climbing onion and a philodendron. I'd definitely recommend checking it out!
